A lattice mast pictogram — very tall, guyed, and lit red at night; superb long-range daymark.
What it means
A guyed lattice mast pictogram marks a telecommunication (radio/TV) mast; a self-supporting one is a telecommunication tower (E 29). Heights are often charted.
Why it matters
Masts several hundred meters tall are visible far beyond the coastline itself. Their red flashing obstruction lights are for aircraft — never plot them as navigation lights.
